Kitchen Care
Often the finish on your kitchen cabinets deteriorates because you do not know how to properly care for them. Here are some easy steps you can take that will ensure that you enjoy the look of your cabinets for years to come.
Standard Wood Finish
To clean a dirty spot on your cabinets, simply clean it with a damp cloth and some dish soap. Follow up with another clean damp cloth and then dry. Also, a light waxing every now and again would be very helpful. Avoid using detergents, oily polishes and surface or glass cleaner.
Laminate
Use a clean damp cloth and water to clean your laminate cabinets. Do not use abrasive cleaning pads and cleaners on stains. Instead, clean stained areas with a tile cleaner and a clean cloth.
High-Gloss Finish
Use dish soap and a clean damp cloth to clean your high-gloss cabinets. Never use a wax cleaner, as that will cause discoloration.
